When you own property in a rural area, you will receive your property tax notice from the province’s Surveyor of Taxes office every June.  You pay your property taxes to the province.

The Regional District of Mount Waddington is not a tax authority. Therefore the Regional District does not issue property taxes notices nor collect property tax payments. For rural property owners outside of a municipality in the Regional District of Mount Waddington, please visit the Provincial Government’s How to Pay Your Rural Property Taxes webpage.
